Interested in getting involved with the biotechnology industry but unsure how to start? You’ve come to the right place! The goal of the Corporate Committee is to educate members on the opportunities for bioengineers in industry settings, whether it’s medical device startups, large pharmaceutical companies, consulting firms, you name it! Members can further their professional development through resume and LinkedIn workshops, surveying a number of prominent Bay Area bioengineering companies, and planning events focused on networking with professionals and developing the proper leadership and organizational skills necessary for contributing to the leading biotechnology industry. Returning members to BMES are also able to participate in consulting projects with local biotechnology companies to gain real-life experience with the industry.
